Kinzel House Burns Again

The Kinzel House one the outskirts of Townsend burned last night. The building, which housed a restaurant until it burned in the late 1990's, is a familiar landmark as one drives up Highway 321 from Maryville to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Daily Times has a spectacular photograph of the fire. The building collapsed, so the Kinsel House is no more.
