As long as I'm parading my geekiness, I just watched the trailer for Star Trek XI, which is on You Tube. Spock gets to say, "Space, the final frontier . . . ." I'm happy for him. The trailer is in theaters now in the previews for Cloverfield, which is a Big-Unseen-Monster-Attacks-New-York movie.
The flick is based on the early careers of the crew of the classic Star Trek television series, and I understand that Leonard Nimoy (Spock) appears in the flick, though obviously another actor will play the role of the young Spock. The film is expected to be released in December 2008.
