Scary Times in Athens, Greece

Athens, Greece, has had rioting for the past several days. The violence was triggered by police shooting a fifteen-year-old boy, but there a lot of people unhappy with the current government in that country. I have a friend with family (and a condo) there. I'd be interested to hear his point of view.
