As of about an hour ago Sarah was still running a temperature of 100.2, but she seems to feel fine after having had about twelve hours of sleep overnight. Sherry called yesterday afternoon to report that she was bringing Jake over to Grams' house in Nashville to recuperate after having three teeth removed yesterday. From what I understand, he had adult teeth coming in under three teeth that weren't ready to come out on their own yet. I remember having four wisdom teeth removed when I was about nineteen, and it was a pretty miserable experience. Poor Jake!
When I talked to Johnny yesterday, he was planning to come up to the mountains with Natalie to stay at Laura and Stew's Sunset Ridge Cabin in Pigeon Forge since we had to cancel our father-daughter camping trip. I'll let him know that Sarah still has a slight fever and let him decide whether he wants us to come up or not.
Meanwhile, Laura is meeting her and Leslie's friend, Dana, whom they've known since high school, up at Cozy Creek Cabin today. Leslie and Frazier are also hoping to go up there for at least a day visit, so Sevier County will have one or two extra Ogles up in the mountains today.
UPDATE: Johnny and Karen wisely decided not to expose Natalie to Sarah, and Johnny decided to scrub his mountain trip given the circumstances. It is 10:21 a.m., and Sarah is still clearly slowed down by the virus, though she's playing on Sherry's computer at the moment. I'm just going to keep Sarah quiet and at home today.
