Geocaching Amateur Interorbital Alliance

I wrote about geocaching a few months ago, and I just discovered that a group called the Geocaching Amateur Interorbital Alliance launched a geocache into (or very nearly into) space via balloon from Fayetteville, North Carolina. When the balloon burst, the group was able to track the geocache to Plymouth, North Carolina, where it landed. (Via Neatorama)
