Book Review -- An Island to Oneself, by Tom Neale

I recently read An Island to Oneself by Tom Neale, and enjoyed it thoroughly. It is Neale's story about living by himself on a remote island in the South Pacific in the 1950's, and it describes his day-to-day life, as well as his interaction with the few visitors to the island during his time there. Unlike fictional Robinson Crusoe, Neale planned his adventure on the island and was able to be dropped off with a significant amount of provisions, including seeds and chickens, and he was also able to make use of items and dilapidated buildings left behind by sentinels posted to the island during World War II. It was a short read, which I recommend.
