We recently made our annual trip to Seagrove Beach, Florida, and enjoyed a very pleasant and sunny week. The rental service we usually use has instituted a new key code system that has ended our ability to check in early as we have for many years. Fortunately, they are cool with letting us cool our heels at one of the pools onsite while we wait for 4:00 p.m. (central) check in.
We spend the great majority of our time at the beach on the beach and tucked under umbrellas or the canopy we bought last year. I unfortunately only brought the canopy frame and left the cover at home, so we relied on umbrellas.
Sarah and Sherry pose on the beach as the afternoon winds down.
As you can see, this picture was taken at low tide. Laura and Leslie we being photobombed by Sarah, and you can just see the child's arm on the right side of the picture.
We stayed in our usual condo complex, Beachwood Villas, although we stayed in a unit we'd never stayed in before. Mom, Leslie, Laura and Gracie rented a condo in Beachcrest, the high rise in the background. Joey and Abby drove down and stayed on our sleeper sofa, so Sarah spent her nights at Beachcrest, since they had an extra bed.
