Fall Visit to Montgomery Bell State Park

I attended the fall clerks conference meeting in Middle Tennessee at Montgomery Bell State Park last week, and I stayed at the park's inn where the conference is conducted. Every room has a view of Lake Acorn, one of three man-made lakes in the park.

I drove to a different area of the park from the inn one morning to hike a trail I hadn't hiked before, and on the drive back to the inn I came upon these two deer grazing by the side of the road.

Here are a couple of pictures of Lake Woodhaven, near where I walked the Creech Hollow Lake trail that morning before encountering the deer.
